
In the course of relocation one of the most emotive issues is maintaining the quality of the education of your children
At Icon Relocation we understand this key factor which can often lead to the success or failure to any relocation. We recommend that the relocatee's family's educational requirements are addressed at the outset of the relocation, as often the desired housing needs have to be adapted to meet these requirements.
As with all of our services, our dedicated Education Consultant can adapt the package according to the family’s requirements; this is usually agreed with the client following an initial telephone consultation with the employee and their family.
A typical package of information supplied
to the employee and their family may include:
- Address and telephone numbers of the local education offices
- Relevant information on the appropriate local education
authorities
to include such items as admissions policy, age of transfer and selection. - Detailed information on appropriate schools – state or independent.
- A ‘Guide to Choosing a School’ or a ‘Guide to Education in the UK’
or ‘Guide to Scottish Education’ School brochures.

In addition to the above we can also offer:
- Testing of the children where felt appropriate
- Support in arranging school visits when the employee
and their family arrive in the UK - At the client's agreement support, in going to appeal if
the required school placement is not available
